SIKESTON, Mo. -- Carl Roach, 49, of Sikeston died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2002, at his home.
He was born March 18, 1953, in Benton, Ky., son of Shirel Roach and Nell Alexander McDonald. He and Diane Martin Rister were married Aug. 25, 1984, in Las Vegas, Nev.
Roach worked at Noranda Aluminum until becoming ill. He was a member of Murray Lane Baptist Church.
He served in the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Alex Roach of the home, Blake Rister of Cape Girardeau; his parents of Paducah, Ky.; three daughters, Amie Blechle of Jackson, Mo., Natalie Manley of Cape Girardeau, Kristi Ross of Sikeston; four sisters, Anne Bing of Union City, Tenn., Carla Boyd and Tonya White of Paducah, Debbie Roach of Ripley, Tenn.; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kelly Grubbs officiating.
