CARL R. RAYMOND

EAST PRAIRIE -- Carl Rodney Raymond, 64, of East Prairie, died Friday, Aug. 13, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born March 31, 1929, son of Ernest Rod and Lillie B. Evans Raymond. He and Marie Buie, who died Dec. 14, 1980. He later married Helen Poe, who died May 10, 1984.

Raymond was a retired truck driver, moving here 11 years ago from Michigan.

Survivors include five sons, Steven and Gail Raymond of Matthews, Carlos Raymond of Gideon, Michael Raymond of East Prairie, Scottie Raymond of Sikeston; five daughters, Debbie Warren of Stevensville, Mich., Tina Bell of Hayti, Cathy Endicott of Lake Placid, Fla., Debbie Porter of Minden, Nev., Becky Birch of Mascoutah, Ill.; a brother, Elmer Raymond of East Prairie; a sister, Imogene Caldwell of East Prairie; 15 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by two half sisters.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Shelby Funeral Chapel. Lloyd Anderson will officiate, with burial in East Prairie Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
