PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Carl N. Leuckel, 92, of Perryville died Friday, Sept. 8, 2000, at the Perryoaks Healthcare Center. He was born Sept. 20, 1907, in Perryville, son of Phil A. and May Faherty Leuckel. He and Clara Bell Newcomb were married in 1929. She died in 1975...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Carl N. Leuckel, 92, of Perryville died Friday, Sept. 8, 2000, at the Perryoaks Healthcare Center.

He was born Sept. 20, 1907, in Perryville, son of Phil A. and May Faherty Leuckel. He and Clara Bell Newcomb were married in 1929. She died in 1975.

Leuckel was a filter plant operator for the St. Louis County Water Co.

Survivors include one son, Carl Ray Leuckel of Perryville; one stepdaughter, Marie McCarty of Keyser, W.Va.; 14 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and one stepdaughter.

Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today or from 6:30 a.m. until the time of service Monday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kevin P. Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery in Perryville.
