CAREL BEYATTE JR.

MCGEE -- Funeral service for Carel "Butch" Beyatte Jr. of McGee will be held at 1 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. The Rev. Codus James will officiate, with burial in New Hope-McGee Cemetery.

Beyatte, 42, died Monday, July 15, 1996, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.

He was born April 3, 1954, in St. Louis, son of Carel L. and Sylvia Goforth Beyatte Sr. He and Wilma Burkman were married July 4, 1980, at McGee.

Beyatte was employed at Schaefer Power Panels Inc. in Advance, and was a member of Bright Prospect General Baptist Church at McGee.

Survivors include two stepsons, Michael and Edward Burkman of McGee; two sisters, Jeannie Carver of Breckenridge Hills, Betty Happold of Lemay, and two stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son.
