CHARLESTON -- Calvis Marion Wright, 78, of Charleston died Friday, Jan. 14, 2000, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born Nov. 15, 1921, at Dunmor, Ky., son of Everett and Alma Powell Wright Dockler.

Wright had lived in Charleston most of his life. He worked for the Fisca Oil Co. near Wyatt.

Survivors include one son, Calvis Allen Wright of St. Louis; two daughters, Kathy Coney of Henderson, Ky., and Alma Talley of Wickliffe, Ky.; and one sister, Ovaline O'Rourke of Charleston.

He was preceded in death by a son.

Friends may call from 5 until 8 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. A prayer service is scheduled for 7 p.m. today in the McMikle Chapel.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Father Gerald Brown will officiate, with burial at the I.O.O.F Cemetery.
