EAST PRAIRIE -- Calvin E. "Cal" Walker, 62, of East Prairie died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, at his home.
He was born Aug. 8, 1937, in Cairo, Ill., son of Charles and Irene Harris Walker Sr.
Walker lived in East Prairie most of his life, and was a self-employed mechanic.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include a son, Calvin Walker of Granite City, Ill.; two daughters, Pamela Knight of Edwardsville, Ill., Tammy Schupbach of Carrollton, Texas; his mother, Irene Radica of East Prairie; a brother, Charles Walker Jr. of Cairo; a sister, Doris Black of Trenton, Ill.; a half brother, Van Radica of Sikeston; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and two sisters.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Charles Warren officiating. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
