CHAFFEE -- Funeral service for Calvin H. Cutler of Chaffee will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church. The Revs. Charlie Shrum and Gerald Collier will officiate, with burial in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home after 3 p.m. today.
Cutler, 65 years old, died Thursday, March 14, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born July 31, 1925, in Ridgely, Tenn., son of A.D. and Lessie Crabtree Cutler. He and the former Movidene Montgomery were married Jan. 8, 1949.
Cutler retired in February 1989 as a salesman at JCPenney in Cape Girardeau. He was a member of Chaffee VFW Post 3127, and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include two daughters, Sheila Dooley and Joy Garner of Chaffee; three brothers, Glen Cutler of Dexter, Alfred Cutler of Roseville, Mich., Hassel Cutler of Arnold; four sisters, Reba Hampton of Bloomfield, Verda Ellison of Harper Woods, Mich., Virginia Belcher of Gary, Ind., Anna Hutchcraft of Poplar Bluff, and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
