Caleb Michael Lumos, 23, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, July 16, 2006, at Lake of Egypt in Southern Illinois.
He was born Aug. 6, 1982, in Farmington, Mo., son of the Rev. Dennis and Theresa White Lumos.
He was a graduate of Central High School, attended Southeast Missouri State University two years, and was active at the Wesley House. His infectious smile and sense of fun will be missed by family and friends.
Survivors include his father, the Rev. Dennis Lumos of Cape Girardeau; his mother, Theresa White Lumos of Cape Girardeau; grandparents, the Rev. Harry White of Bonne Terre, Mo., Joyce White of Bonne Terre; a sister, Bethany; a brother, James Lumos II and wife Jodi of Phoenix, Ariz., and two nephews, Eli and Blake Lumos of Phoenix.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Harold Gene Lumos and Juanita Lumos.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home today from 4 to 8 p.m.
The funeral will be at La Croix United Methodist Church at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Jeff Long and the Rev. Rob Mehner officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
