CADDIE GROSS

ADVANCE -- Funeral for Caddie Gross of Advance will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Advance United Methodist Church. The Rev. Tom Zych will officiate. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today. Order of Eastern Star service will be held at 7.

Gross, 92, died Monday, Jan. 10, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 24, 1907, in Advance, daughter of David and Ada Helderman Bollinger. She and Edward Floyd Gross were married March 13, 1943, in Jonesboro, Ark. He died Feb. 8, 1989.

Gross was a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University.

She was a teacher 46 years, 31 of which were at Advance schools. She was a member of Advance United Methodist Church, Wednesday Study Club, member and former past matron of Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include a brother, Paul Bollinger of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by seven brothers and four sisters.
