MOREHOUSE, Mo. -- Dawsey Leon "Bud" Ross, 63, of Morehouse died Friday, March 30, 2001, at his home. He was born Jan. 31, 1938, at Parma, Mo., son of Elmer and Ruby Jordan Ross. He and Patricia May "Pat" Jones were married April 4, 1959. Ross retired as a deputy with New Madrid County Sheriff's Department. He was a member of First Baptist Church...

MOREHOUSE, Mo. -- Dawsey Leon "Bud" Ross, 63, of Morehouse died Friday, March 30, 2001, at his home.

He was born Jan. 31, 1938, at Parma, Mo., son of Elmer and Ruby Jordan Ross. He and Patricia May "Pat" Jones were married April 4, 1959.

Ross retired as a deputy with New Madrid County Sheriff's Department. He was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Roger Ross of Morehouse, Michael "Mike" Ross of Crystal City, Mo.; two sisters, Freeda Van Pelt of Morehouse, Imogene Massey of Sikeston, Mo.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Revs. Randy Conn and J.D. McClard will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
