MARBLE HILL -- Bruce G. Troyer, 43, Marble Hill Route 1, died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 1992, shortly after arrival at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was involved in a car accident on Highway UU near Marble Hill.
He was born Oct. 21, 1949, in Honolulu, Hawaii, son of Gordon Elwin and Verna Myers Troyer. He and Dixie Manley were married Aug. 13, 1972, in Hawaii.
Troyer was employed by Toshiba American Medical Services, and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Gordon Troyer of the home; two daughters, Dodie Faulkner of Conway, Katrina Rhodes of Freeland, Mich.; his mother of Mountain View; a sister, and Betty McNamara of Mountain View. He is also survived by five grandchildren, four of whom resided with him and he was legal guardian of. They are Amanda, Amiee, Grace and Kathryn Troyer.
He was preceded in death by his father, brother and granddaughter.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson, with the Rev. Lawrence Eatherton officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
