Bruce Frank

COBDEN, Ill. -- Bruce Darwin Frank, 49, of Cobden died Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2005, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, Ill.

He was born Oct. 3, 1955, in Streator, Ill., son of Darwin A. and June L. Scheuer Frank. He and Beth Marie Gingrich were married Oct. 4, 1975, in McLean County, Ill.

Frank was a truck driver for Carbondale Brick and Block Co. He was a member of Walnut Grove United Methodist Church and attended First Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Anna. He was a member of Teamsters Local 347, and active in coaching the Khoury League teams.

Survivors include his wife; a son, 2nd Lt. Seth Frank of Fort Polk, La.; a daughter, Carolyn Frank of Dongola, Ill.; his mother, June Frank of Anna, Ill.; two sisters, Nancy Landendorf of St. Louis, Jane DesCarpentrie of Mackinaw, Ill.; two brothers, Randy Frank of Anna, and Robert Frank of Glen Ellyn, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden from 6 to 8 p.m. today, and from 10 a.m. Saturday until time of service at First Evangelical Presbyterian Church.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Randy Carstens officiating. Burial will be in Cobden Cemetery.
