Brittany Paige Bomar, 28, of Cape Girardeau departed this world on Tuesday, May 8th, 2018.

Paige had a voracious appetite for life the moment she arrived in this world. As her loved ones can attest, she wasn't afraid to go out in the world and was passionate about everything she did. She and her fiance, Ethan Myer, would often travel to various festivals and destinations, a camera always in hand, sharing their experiences with others. She had a deep love for life and was always striving to help make this Earth a better place, whether it was sharing veganism or protesting for animal rights, Paige was a passionate activist. Her love for animals grew as she became the mother of her four fur-babies, Dori, Athena, Spock and Titus. This passion guided her to graduate from Southeast Missouri University with two bachelor's degrees in social work and social sciences. She was a paraprofessional at Jackson School District, where she loved working with her students and peers. Paige's warm smile and joyful laugh helped brighten the lives of those around her, and she will be sorely missed.

Paige is survived by her parents, Dana and Matt Baker; sister, Megan Bomar of Cape Girardeau; brother, Hunter Bomar of Jackson; fiance, Ethan Myer of Cape Girardeau; his parents, Travis and Sheri Myer of Millersville; and his sister, Samantha Myer of Saint Louis. She is also survived by her maternal grandparents, Jeanine and Gary Bomar of Fruitland; maternal grandmother, Janet Nicholson of Jackson; paternal grandparents, Karen and John Baker of Cape Girardeau; and two nephews, Mason and Cohen McHughs of Cape Girardeau.
