Brent Shonta Johnson, 30, a resident of Cape Girardeau, died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016.
He was born Dec. 24, 1985, in Cape Girardeau to the late Lonnie Lee Johnson and Renee Davis of Clarksville, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Venice and Katie Johnson; his uncle, Mark Johnson; and two aunts, Angela Johnson and Shakelia Johnson.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Renee and Tim Davis of Clarksville; two sons, Karter Johnson and Sho’Tez Bell-Jackson of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Dymond Williams of Charleston, Missouri, and Brilyn Sides of Avondale, Arizona; two brothers, Deandra McCellon and Devon Johnson of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Chelsea Johnson of Cape Girardeau; his grandparents, Magdalene and Henry Newman of Sikeston, Missouri; and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour of 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. James A.M.E. Church in Cape Girardeau, with Elder Freddie Green officiating. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
