Brenda Halter

Brenda K. Halter, 39, of Cape Girardeau passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born Nov. 2, 1976, in Cape Girardeau to Bernard and Lillian Mae Nanna Halter.

Brenda worked at VIP Industries and loved music. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include her father, Bernard; sisters Rose Mary Brown of Cape Girardeau, Clarissa (Brian) Wingerter of Perryville, Missouri, and Anna Halter of Cape Girardeau; four nephews, Alex and Joey Swan, Eric Wingerter and Brent Halter.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home, with parish prayers at 7 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Bobby Manso officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial donations may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
