SCOTT CITY -- Brandon Dees, 15, of Scott City, died Thursday, Sept. 1, 1994, at St. Louis Children's Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
He was born Sept. 26, 1978, in Baton Rouge, La., son of Larry and Melba Griffin Dees.
Dees was a sophomore at Scott City High School, and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include his parents; a brother, David Dees of the home; a sister, Jessica Dees of the home; maternal grandparents, John and Glenda Griffin of Wappapello, and paternal grandparents, Avery and Dorothy Dees of Scott City.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City after 5 p.m. today, and from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. Pat Wissman officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
