SIKESTON, Mo. -- Brae Shondell McKinney, 22, of Sikeston died Thursday, May 22, 2003, in an automobile accident in Lonoke, Ark. He was born Oct. 19, 1980, in Hayti, Mo., son of Carol McKinney and Sammy Triblett. McKinney attended New Madrid County Central High School. SIKESTON, Mo. -- Brae Shondell McKinney, 22, of Sikeston died Thursday, May 22, 2003, in an automobile accident in Lonoke, Ark.

He was born Oct. 19, 1980, in Hayti, Mo., son of Carol McKinney and Sammy Triblett.

McKinney attended New Madrid County Central High School. He had worked at Ryan's Family Steak House, and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Braeshaun McKinney of Sikeston; his parents of Sikeston; two sisters, Farnesha Triblett of Sikeston, Salinda Kelley of Orlando, Fla.; three brothers, Kendrick McKinney of Marston, Mo., Sammy McKinney and Rodrickus Triblett of Sikeston; maternal grandparents, Mon McKinney of Marston and Robert McKinney of Portageville, Mo.; paternal grandparents, Willie Triblett of Sikeston, Ezell Triblett of St. Louis; and fiancee, Tracy Mallory of Sikeston.

The funeral will be at noon Saturday at Cornerstone Church, with the Rev. Joe Nabors officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
