SIKESTON, Mo. -- Bradley Charles LeGrand, 44, of Chicago died Monday, Aug. 30, 2010, at his home, due to a heart attack.
He was born Feb. 8, 1966, in Sikeston, to Emil Edward "Tony" and Mary Frances Bollinger LeGrand of Sikeston. He graduated from Sikeston High School in 1984, and attended Southeast Missouri State University three years.
LeGrand worked for Kmart and the Handleman Co. in Sikeston until he moved to Chicago in 1991. Since 1993 he had been the HRAIL coordinator for the Jewish Elderly Senior Life Center in Chicago.
Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Michael LeGrand of Dallas, Texas, Christopher LeGrand of Evanston, Ill.; a sister, Linda Cossiboom of Nashville, Tenn.; and two nieces, Ashley and Morgan Cossiboom of Nashville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel, with the Rev. Glenn Eftink, pastor of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, officiating. Cremation will follow and disposition of the cremains will occur at a later date.
