Boyce W. Toole, 79, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2001, at his home.

He was born July 30, 1922, at White Oak, Mo., son of Odie and Ola Belle Toole. He and Frances Pullum were married March 18, 1947.

Toole worked 15 years at Procter & Gamble, retiring in 1984. Prior to that he farmed at Gideon, Mo.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; five sons, Lowell Toole of Independence, Mo., Larry Toole of Millersville, Mo., Dennis Toole of Patton, Mo., Adrian and Allen Toole of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Bonnie Ebrecht of Titusville, Fla.; four brothers, Owen Toole of Flushing, Mich., Randol Toole of Gideon, Benny Toole of Crystal River, Fla., Rex Toole of Sikeston, Mo.; a sister, Eunice James of Senath, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Lynwood Baptist Church, with the Rev. Derek Staples officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
