MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Bonnie Sue McCarter, 60, of Marble Hill died Friday, Nov. 3, 2000, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
She was born July 19, 1940, daughter of Paul and Neelie Vanderkloots Buentes. She and Thomas McCarter were married Nov. 5, 1976, in Zalma, Mo.
She was a member of New Sylvan Church in Marble Hill.
Survivors include her mother; four sons, Barry Hughes of Jackson, Mo., Brian Hughes of Mesa, Ariz., Bret Hughes of Phoenix, Ariz., and Thomas McCarter II of Marble Hill; and three daughters, Bridget Watson of Fruitland, Mo., Barbara Cathey of Sedgewickville, Mo., and Megan McCarter of Cape Girardeau; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. today at New Sylvan Church in Marble Hill, with the Rev. Bill McCormick officiating. Hutchings Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
