Bonnie Henry, 68, of Daisy passed away Saturday, Dec. 24, 2016, at her home. She was born Jan. 2, 1948, in St. Louis, daughter of Jill and Dora S. Messey Hopson. She and Larry D. Henry were married Sept. 26, 1964, in Daisy. Bonnie worked for Lenco in Jackson, retiring after 14 years. Since the early 1980s, she was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church, where she taught Bible-school and Sunday-school classes...

Bonnie Henry, 68, of Daisy passed away Saturday, Dec. 24, 2016, at her home.

She was born Jan. 2, 1948, in St. Louis, daughter of Jill and Dora S. Messey Hopson. She and Larry D. Henry were married Sept. 26, 1964, in Daisy.

Bonnie worked for Lenco in Jackson, retiring after 14 years. Since the early 1980s, she was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church, where she taught Bible-school and Sunday-school classes.

Loving survivors include her husband of 52 years, Larry Henry of Daisy; a daughter, Lisa (Dale) Volz of Oak Ridge; a granddaughter, Abby Volz of Oak Ridge, who was the light of her eyes; several brothers and sisters; and a brother-in-law, Donald (Betty) Henry of Oak Ridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Larry D. Henry Jr., in 1985.

A graveside service was held Wednesday at New Salem Cemetery in Daisy, with the Rev. Ed Stoner officiating.

The family suggests contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
