Bonna Hunt

Bonna Merle Hunt, 90, of Jackson died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2002, at Perry Oaks Manor in Perryville, Mo.

She was born Dec. 24, 1911, in Alton, Mo., daughter of William H. and Emma Test Braswell. She and the Rev. William Harry Hunt were married May 15, 1938. He died Jan. 4, 1989.

Hunt was a member of First Baptist Church and its Women's Missionary Union, and former Sunday school and Bible school teacher.

Survivors include a son, Bill Hunt of St. Louis; two daughters, Ruth Schuette of Jackson, Martha Hunt of St. Louis; two brothers, Bob Braswell of Alton, Joe Braswell of Georgetown, Texas; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Brian Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Huddleston Cemetery at Alton.
