BOBBY WILLIFORD

EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral for Bobby Joe Williford of East Prairie will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel. Pastor Ernest Brown will officiate, with burial in Dogwood Cemetery.

Williford, 62, died Thursday, Aug. 20, 1998, at East Prairie Nursing Center.

He was born June 15, 1936, in East Prairie, son of Lonzo and Mildred Cotham Williford. He and Erma Lee Crisel were married Dec. 20, 1960.

Williford lived in East Prairie all his life, and was a member of First General Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, John and Mark Williford of East Prairie; four brothers, Bill Williford of Orient, Ill., Gene Williford of Carterville, Ill., Franklin Williford of Bridgeton, Marshall Williford of Lemay; a sister, Betty Brock of Lisle, Ill.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a son and a sister.
