ADVANCE, Mo. -- Bobby Gean Williamson, 77 of Advance died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016, at Belleville Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois.
He was born March 22, 1938, in Jackson to Jessie and Midgze Adeline Nance Williamson. He married Charlotte Ann Stamp on Jan. 9, 1960.
Bobby was a truck driver and mechanic. He was a member of Advance First in Advance. He was a stock-car driver at Arena Park, where he was a former champion. He also was a car enthusiast and loved to restore old cars. He had won first place in multiple car shows in the past with his 1940 Ford coupe that he had restored.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte, and a son, Ricky Williamson of Erie, Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Chaffee, Missouri.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Brad Moore officiating.
