KURREVILLE, Mo. -- Bobby Gene Welker, 63, of Kurreville died Wednesday, May 9, 2001, at his home.
He was born July 2, 1937, at Kurreville, son of Hubert Edward and Lou Seabaugh Welker. He first married Marandia Jane Slemmer Feb. 2, 1957. She died May 25, 1995. He and Patsy Riehn were married May 17, 1997.
Welker worked at Lone Star Industries, and was a lifelong farmer in the Kurreville area. He was a member of Old Salem United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Glenn Welker of Kurreville; two daughters, Lysa Rhodes and Robyn Hosp of Jackson, Mo.; three stepdaughters, Mary Friese of Friedheim, Mo., Tina Shable of Newton, Iowa, Sandra Kasten of Jackson; his mother, Lou Maevers of Cape Girardeau; seven grandchildren; and eight stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday.
Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Old Salem Church, with the Rev. Nick Perry officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
