SIKESTON, Mo. -- Bobby Pearson, 55, of Sikeston died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 21, 1947, at Commerce, Mo., son of Woodrow and Lillie Mae Allen Pearson. He and Twana Mills were married Oct. 15, 2001.
Pearson attended Kelly High School at Benton, Mo. He worked at Noranda Aluminum in New Madrid, Mo., 25 years.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1973.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Carisa Blissett of Sikeston; three sons, Dwayne and Louis Wiggens and Michael Winfield, all of Sikeston; and his father of Commerce.
Also surviving are five brothers, Jimmy Pearson of Goose Creek, S.C., Kenneth Pearson of Kansas City, Mo., Larry Pearson of Baton Rouge, La., Lonnie Pearson of Cape Girardeau, Terry Pearson of Cincinnati, Ohio; five sisters, Barbara Blissett of Bowling Green, Ky., Beverly and Joyce Pearson and Linda Williamson, all of Sikeston, and Evelyn Brown of Shipman, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his mother and two brothers.
Friends may call at Freewill Missionary Baptist Church after noon Friday.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the church, with the Rev. Victor Williams officiating. Burial will be in Sunset of Memories Cemetery.
