Bobby Menees

ANNA, Ill. -- Bobby Dean Menees, 69, of Houma, La., formerly of Anna, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008, at Chabert Medical Center in Houma.

Menees was born June 5, 1938, in Union County, Ill., son of Verdus and Clara Mae Menees.

He worked as a housekeeper on an ocean liner.

Survivors include his mother of Anna; and a sister, Imogene Cooley of Mount Vernon, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Monday at Crain Funeral Home in Anna/Jonesboro.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rick Hertenstein officiating.

Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
