SIKESTON, Mo. -- Bobby J. Kelso, 68, of Sikeston died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2001, at his home. He was born Nov. 2, 1938, in Osceola, Ark., son of Rebel Davis and Willie Mae Raper Kelso. He and Gloria A. SIKESTON, Mo. -- Bobby J. Kelso, 68, of Sikeston died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2001, at his home.

He was born Nov. 2, 1938, in Osceola, Ark., son of Rebel Davis and Willie Mae Raper Kelso. He and Gloria A. McGee were married Nov. 14, 1964, at Sikeston.

Kelso was a 1956 graduate of Matthews High School in Matthews, Mo., and a 1966 graduate of Murray State University in Murray, Ky.

He was a loan manager 23 years with Farm Service Agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, working in offices at Kennett, Bloomfield and Sikeston. He also had farmed.

Kelso was a member of Shady Acres Church of Christ.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Julie Bewley of Matthews, Kimberly Spraggs and Carolyn Hann of Sikeston; his mother of Matthews; a brother, Harvey Kelso of Matthews; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Saturday.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with Johnny Hester officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
