SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Bobbie I. Dodd of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Revs. Glenys Duckworth and Leon Goff will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Dodd, 68, died Monday, Nov. 11, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 20, 1928, in Kennett, daughter of the Rev. J.O. and Pearl B. Fitzpatrick Casey. She and Maxa Dodd were married Dec. 12, 1948. He died Oct. 26, 1973.
Dodd was a member of Circle City Pentecostal Church at Circle City, and Everyday People's Clubhouse in Sikeston. She sang gospel music on KCHR Radio in Charleston on Sundays, and also sang at a number of area nursing homes.
Survivors include two sons, Reginald and Ronald Dodd of Sikeston; a daughter, Debbie Alexander of Sikeston; five brothers, Eulice Casey of Ehrenberg, Ariz., Bill and Jim Casey of Sikeston, Gene Casey of Baroda, Mich., Lynn Casey of Anniston; four sisters, Olga Criggs of Sikeston, Naomi Parr of Morehouse, Reba Haynes of Whittier, Calif., Elizabeth Casey of Ehrenberg; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and sister.
