Blondell S. Eaker, 80, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, April 17, 1992, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Tulsa, Okla.

She was born July 30, 1911, at Jackson, daughter of William and Minnie Sanders Schaefer. She married Henry "Peck" Eaker April 20, 1929, at Benton.

Eaker worked at International Shoe Co. many years. She was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church at Jackson, Southeast Missouri Hospital and St. Francis Medical Center Auxiliaries, and did volunteer work at a senior citizen center.

Survivors include a granddaughter, Faith Orlowski McMahan of Tulsa.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, five brothers and six sisters.

A memorial service will be announced later by Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel.
