MORLEY, Mo. — Blanche Traw, 91, of Morley died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Aug. 18, 1917, in Pocahontas, Ark., daughter of Martin and Amanda Nearns Harris. She and Orlando Traw were married May 10, 1934. He died April 1, 1986.
Traw had been a cook at Chaffee, Mo., General Hospital and Morley Cafe. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Morley.
Survivors include two sons, Wade Traw of Barlow, Okla., Dean Traw of Edwardsville, Ill.; a daughter, Sally Kennedy of Morley; a sister, Katy Pryon of Corvallis, Ore.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, Mo.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with Bill Bradley officiating. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery at Morley.
