Blanche LeRoy, 94, of Henderson, Texas, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999, at Henderson Memorial Hospital. She was born March 17, 1904, in Harpersville, Texas. She married William "Bill" LeRoy, who preceded her in death. He was formerly a librarian at Southeast Missouri State University...

Blanche LeRoy, 94, of Henderson, Texas, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999, at Henderson Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 17, 1904, in Harpersville, Texas. She married William "Bill" LeRoy, who preceded her in death. He was formerly a librarian at Southeast Missouri State University.

LeRoy had lived in Henderson 21 years. She was a retired librarian, and member of First United Methodist Church.

She received a master's degree in education from the University of Sam Houston.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister and four brothers.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jim Turley officiating.

Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home in Henderson is in charge of arrangements.
