BIRTHA DANIELS

ORAN -- Birtha Daniels, 85, of Oran died Wednesday, Aug. 26, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 12, 1913, in Sunflower, Miss., daughter of Mac and Pearl Robinson Miller. She and John Thomas Daniels were married Dec. 20, 1932. He died Dec. 2, 1988.

Daniels was a member of Life Tabernacle Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include six sons, Wilburn "Bill" Daniels of Burlington, Ind., Wesley, Robert and John Daniels Jr., all of Oran, Sherman Daniels of Bloomfield, and Terry Daniels of Marble Hill.

Also surviving are six daughters, Helen Cato of Sturdivant, Alice Saucedo, Catherine Daniels and Birtha Griswell, all of Oran, Shirley Pirtle of Randles, Effie Dodd of Morley; 39 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Alvie Surface officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
