BILLY W. REID

SCOTT CITY -- Billy W. Reid, 39, of Scott City died Tuesday, May 21, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Sept. 25, 1951, at Portageville, the son of L.C. and Louise Laymon Reid.

He was employed as a crane operator, and was a member of the Baptist denomination.

He was preceded in death by his father, and a sister.

Survivors include his mother; a son, Billy Reid of Fairview Height, Ill.; a daughter, Ellen Reid of Fairview Height; three brothers, Lloyd Reid of Lewisville, Texas, Lonnie Reid of Jackson, and Danny Reid of Bradenton, Fla; and eight sisters, Wilma McDaniel of Westport, Ind., Alene Woolsey of Sikeston, Velma Smith of Lilbourn, June Perez of Jackson; Betty Lou Baehr of Granite City, Ill., Faye Myers and Linda Parker, both of Scott City, and Sharon Clemons of Gerald, Mo.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at the DeLisle Funeral Home Chapel in Portageville. The Rev. Rennie Phillips will officiate, and burial will be in the Portageville Cemetery. Visitation was Wednesday afternoon.
