Billy Todd Sr.

Billy Gene Todd Sr., of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Gibson, Missouri, died Sunday, April 11, 2021, at Southeast Hospital.

He was born Saturday, Feb. 19, 1938, in Gibson to Chester and Mayme L. Stearnes Todd. He and Geraldine Willard were married June 6, 1959, at Holcomb, Missouri. She survives.

Billy was a graduate of Campbell (Missouri) High School.

He retired from Purcell Tire after 35 years.

Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Todd of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Rhonda Holshouser and Rita Todd of Cape Girardeau; brother, James Todd of Ludington, Michigan; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Randall and Billy Todd; four brothers, Byron, Frank, Myron and Joe Todd; and one grandson, Matthew Randall Holshouser.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Stephen Watkins officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Campbell.

Memorial contributions may be given to American Heart Association or National Kidney Foundation.
