SALEM, Mo. -- Billy Gene Thiele, 47, of Salem, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, April 22, 2004, at his home.
He was born May 5, 1956, at Cape Girardeau, son of Louis and Janice Friedhoff Thiele.
Thiele was self-employed in the construction business. He worked at the Florsheim Shoe Factory and was an antiques dealer.
Survivors include four sons, Billy J. Thiele of Eckland Air Force Base, Fla.; Louis M. Thiele, Charles Thiele and Jerry Thiele, all of Paducah, Ky.; two daughters, Carolyn Thiele of Paducah and Amanda Rustin of Las Vegas, Nev.; three sisters, Sandra Crites of Marble Hill, Mo., Marilyn Woosley of Crofton, Ky., and Kathryn Thiele of Cape Girardeau; four brothers, Charles Thiele of Wright City, Mo., Jerry Thiele and David Thiele, both of Cape Girardeau, Mike Thiele of St. Louis; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
There will be no visitation.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hobbs Chapel Cemetery, with the Rev. Cy Smith officiating.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
