Billy E. McBride, 60, of Cape Girdeau died Tuesday, June 20, 2000, at the Lutheran Home.
He was born April 7, 1940, in Sallis, Miss., son of Elmer and Birdie Mae Acy McBride. He and Patricia A. Harbin were married July 9, 1961, in Hobbs, N.M.
McBride received an associate's degree from Hines Junior College in Raymond, Miss.
He was a sales representative with Jim Wilson Co. 20 years. He was a member of Seventh-day Adventist Church.
McBride served in the U.S. Marine Corps from December 1958 to May 1966.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ronald McBride of Pocahontas, Steven McBride of Cape Girdeau; a daughter, Lisa LeGrand of Scott City; his mother, Birdie McVeety of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Glen McBride of Jackson; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and a daughter.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Revs. Vick Van Schaik and Lee Whitman officiating. Entombment will be in Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
