EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Billy Joe Taylor of East Prairie will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Oneness Pentecostal Church here. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
Friends may call at the church from 6-9 tonight.
McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
Taylor, 27 years old, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 1991, at St. Anthony's Hospital in Effingham, Ill.
He was born July 20, 1963, in East Prairie, son of Sam Cecil and Mary Lois Vaughn Taylor. He and the former Jeanetta Townsend were married July 7, 1990.
Taylor was employed by Mt. Level Farm.
Survivors include his wife; mother and stepfather, Mary and Gerald Morgan of East Prairie; a sister, Pansy Sisk of East Prairie; maternal grandfather, William Vaughn of East Prairie; four half brothers, William Gammons, Jim, Russell and Sam Taylor of East Prairie; three half sisters, Mary Myers of Cape Girardeau, Ida Putnam of East Prairie, and Rosie Parker of Huntsville.
Other survivors are three stepsons, Anthony and Nicholas Townsend of Chicago, Abraham Townsend of East Prairie, and a stepdaughter, Elizabeth Townsend of East Prairie.
