COBDEN, Ill. -- Funeral service for Billy Gene Linton of Cobden will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Apostolic Lighthouse Church. The Rev. Ron Strong will officiate, with burial in Alto Pass Cemetery.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 6-8:30 p.m. today.

Linton, 56 years old, died Monday, March 4, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born April 7, 1934, in Alto Pass, son of Arthur and Ethel Sims Linton. He married the former Marion Johns Feb. 13, 1970, at Cobden.

Linton was a retired laborer, and attended Apostolic Lighthouse Church.

Survivors include five daughters, Connie Allen of Anna, Judy Kelly of Carbondale, Charlotte Linton of Cobden, Theresa Linton of Mt. Vernon, Angela Jennings of Modesto, Calif.; four sons, Billy Jr., Mark and Matthew Linton of Anna, Jesse Jennings of Cobden; a brother, Jim Linton of Jonesboro; three sisters, Helen Allen of Anna, Betty McCann of Jonesboro, Barbara Andrews of Kansas City, Kan., and seven grandchildren.
