SCOTT CITY -- Billy Gene Crader, 63, of Scott City, died Monday, June 21, 1993, at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
He was born March 29, 1930, at Delta, son of Marvin and Lucille Woolsey Crader. He and Hazel Harvey were married Jan. 29, 1969.
Crader was retired from the U.S. Air Force, having served 20 years.
Survivors include his wife; two stepsons, Daniel Qualls of Del Rio, Texas, James Qualls of Scott City; three stepdaughters, Sherry Bollinger of Morley, Leah Zaccarelli of Little Elm, Texas, Mona Settles of Doniphan; a brother, Paul Crader of Scott City; three sisters, Mary Burger, Betty Webb and Helen Hagan of Scott City; 11 stepgrandchildren, and two great-stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, with the Rev. Vester Keesee officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery, with military graveside rites by military personnel from Ft. Leonardwood.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
