SIKESTON, Mo. -- The funeral for Billie Jean Waldron of Hardin, Ky., will be held at 11 a.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. The Revs. Brett Miles and Mitchell Jackson will officiate. Burial will be in Sikeston Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Waldron, 68, died Monday, Nov. 4, 2002, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Ky.

She was born Oct. 23, 1934, in Sikeston, daughter of W.O. and Willie Ethel Morgan Larker. She and John G. Waldron were married Nov. 17, 1950.

Waldron was a nurse 35 years for Dr. Max Heeb at Ferguson Medical Group. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Almo, Ky.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, John Waldron Jr. of Boise, Idaho, Garry Waldron of Greenback, Tenn.; a daughter, Linda Waldron of Almo; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and a sister.
