Billie L. Moore, 78, of Bell City died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006, at his home.
He was born March 31, 1927, in Cape Girardeau, son of Henry and Elizabeth Clark Moore. He and Alma Tackett were married in 1960 in Cape Girardeau. She died in 2002.
Moore worked in several factories, and was a cab driver several years in Cape Girardeau.
He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include three daughters, Tammy Jennings of Bell City, Melinda Gentry of Jeffersonville, Ind., Darlene Lusk of Coleman, Texas; two sons, Mike Moore of Coleman, Danny Moore of El Paso, Texas; a stepdaughter, Janet Vaglica of Advance, Mo.; a stepson, Richard Vaglica of Kansas City, Mo.; a brother, Eugene Moore of Jackson; a sister, Ruthie Beal of Marble Hill, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and four great-stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Doyle Randol officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
