MOREHOUSE -- Billie Jean Hayden, 71, of Morehouse died Sunday, Nov. 30, 1997, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 25, 1926, in Arkansas, daughter of William Arthur and Oma Fussell Robison. She and Alvie Hayden were married Aug. 7, 1954. He died Nov. 1, 1970.
Hayden lived in Mississippi County most of her life. She formerly was a waitress at 76 Truck Stop in Matthews, and was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church in Charleston.
Survivors include two sons, Ricky and Kenny Hayden of High Hill; a daughter, Brenda Stoffregen of Morehouse; a brother, Jimmy Robison of Sikeston; four sisters, Margie Vanpool of Sikeston, Carol Prince of Morehouse, Linda Leker of Kewanee, Glenda Deprow of Tallapoosa; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and four sisters.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Msgr. William Stanton officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery near Charleston.
