DEXTER, Mo. -- Bill Garner, 70, of Dexter died April 2, 2009, at St. Louis University Hospital.
He was born May 17, 1938, at Dexter, son of Bert and Goldie Dillingham Garner.
He and Betty Sue LeBeau were married May 20, 1962, at Dexter.
He was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples Of Christ) in Dexter, the former co-owner of Garner Appliance in Dexter and a former maintenance employee for the Dexter School District.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Kaye Holder and Ginger Cobb, both of Dexter, Penny DuPerier of Jackson; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son and a brother.
Friends may call from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
A graveside service will follow in Armstead Dowdy Cemetery near Dexter.
