CHARLESTON -- Bill Finley, 68, of McHenry, Ill., died Friday, Aug. 9, 1996, at Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry.
He was born Oct. 16, 1927, in East Prairie, son of Robert and Delpha Finley. He and Hetty Wagner were married May 27, 1947.
Finley was a regional sales manager for the state of New Jersey with CP International. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He had lived in McHenry 22 years.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Bill Finley II of McHenry; three daughters, Tina Whitehead and Leanne Cornwell of St. Louis, Vicki Finley of McHenry; a sister, Kathleen Taylor of Oran; six grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 5 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with burial in IOOF Cemetery.
