BILL CHESSOR

SIKESTON -- Willie Whitfield "Bill" Chessor, 83, of Sikeston, died Sunday, June 5, 1994, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born March 4, 1911, in Only, Tenn., son of James Richard and Sally L. Bates Chessor. He and Colleen Eiceman were married Oct. 21, 1939, in New Madrid County.

Chessor was a landscaper, and member of Tanner Street Church of God.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Billy and Barry Chessor of Sikeston; four daughters, Bonnie Heckert of Sikeston, Barbara Porter of Anderson, Ind., Beverly Russell of Ardmore, Okla., Belinda Greenlee of Hannibal; 19 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Revs. Carl Addison and Roy Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
