THE COLONY, Texas -- Beverly Ann Baker, 66, passed away Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, at her home in The Colony.

She was born June 24, 1949, in Cape Girardeau to Melvin and Blanche Brennecke.

Beverly was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in The Colony and was retired from Wal-Mart after 35 years.

She is survived by her husband, John Alvin Baker III; a daughter, Jenna Elizabeth (Joshua) Edwards; a son, John Alvin (Molly) Baker IV; a sister, Debra Hinkle; and three brothers, John, Kent and Keith Brennecke.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Flower Mound Family Funeral Home in Flower Mound, Texas.

The funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with burial at Flower Mound Cemetery.
