Beverly Ann Adams, 55, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Oct. 27, 1942, in Monett, Ark., daughter of Elvin Earl and Earline Francis Ladd. She and David Adams were married in 1959 in Booneville, Miss.

Adams was raised in Chicago and lived in Seattle, Wash., moving to Cape Girardeau six years ago. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Survivors include two sons, Aaron Adams of Bothell, Wash., DeWayne Adams of Seattle, Wash.; her stepmother, Ruth Ladd of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Earl Ladd Jr. of Chaffee; five sisters, Glenda Seabaugh, Vanessa Lowell and June Wyman of Cape Girardeau, Stephanie Thompson of Scott City, Elvine Flannigan of Dahlgren, Ill.; and two grandchildren.

There is no visitation.

Funeral service will be held at 7 tonight at the Kingdom Hall, with Charles Francis officiating.

Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Pine Hill Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark.

Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
