MARBLE HILL -- Beulah Bell Stone, 89, of East Alton, Ill., died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 1993, at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, Ill.
She was born March 16, 1904, in Marble Hill, daughter of William and LuCinda Fowler Beasley. She and Ercel Stone were married June 23, 1923. He died Nov. 20, 1981.
Stone was a member of First General Baptist Church in East Alton.
Survivors include a son, Van Stone of Sarasota, Fla.; two daughters, Elwanda Liley of East Alton, Lorna Chappell of Bridgeton, Ill.; two sisters, Nona Gilcrease of St. Louis, Jewell Filer of Marble Hill; 12 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, three brothers, six sisters and a great-grandchild.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Zion Cemetery, with the Rev. Dick Murray officiating.
