Betty Joann Wulfers, 75, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Jan. 17, 2005, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 3, 1929, in Fredericktown, Mo., daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Blair Selle. She and Gregory Wulfers were married May 7, 1955, in Cape Girardeau.
Wulfers was a high school graduate of Ursaline Academy in Arcadia, Mo. She worked 13 years at Landgraf Lumber Co., seven years at Davis Electric, and was an Avon representative. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Phillip Wulfers of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Connie Matosich of Imperial, Mo.; a brother, Joseph Selle of Houston, Texas; a sister, Kathleen Hill of Cape Girardeau; and a grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. A vigil service will be held at 7.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Derek Swanson officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
